Assistant Manager – IT (IT Infra)

Job Responsibilities

Ø Deep knowledge of Fortinet (Mandatory) and Sonicwall firewall, Knowledge of Mikrotik router is additional advantage

Ø Worked on monitoring and ticketing tools

Ø Managing all Network equipment and ensuring uptime (Firewall / Load Balancer / Router / Switches / AP)

Ø Making configuration changes to devices (Firewall / Load Balancer / Router / Switches / AP)

Ø Implementation and maintenance of network architecture components for managed services, including OS installation hardening management, implementation and maintenance of network monitoring toolsets

Ø Administering TCP/IP addresses

Ø Monitoring the network to determine capacity usage and escalate/ recommend necessary steps to Tele performance

Ø Resolution of network faults within the time frame defined by the SLAs

Ø Identifying LAN/WAN faults and resolving them through vendors providing maintenance services

Ø Updating documentation of the LAN, like IP address register, PC IDs, Router configurations, hardware, network diagrams as and when changes happen.

Ø Providing L2, L3 level support for any network problems and troubleshooting the same in coordination with the vendor.

Ø Generating monthly reports on various Network related calls and uptimes

Ø Planning, implementation, and configuration of monitoring and maintenance network hardware and telecommunications links, including routers, switches, IDS, load-balancing, etc for expansions of network

Ø Establish and maintain a redundant network operations environment, including substantial software and hardware fail-over; monitoring and testing the configuration performance

Ø Basic troubleshooting of Computers / Printer and other common peripheral devices

Ø Good Understanding in Basic Routing and switching concepts.

Ø Must have expertise in Remote Infrastructure management for network.

Ø Hands-on experience in configuration and troubleshooting of firewall (Fortigate Mandatory), IDS/IPS, VPN, Zabbix or other monitoring tools

Ø Perform day today firewall activities like Administration, Management, monitoring and troubleshooting

Ø Good knowledge on OS Upgrades and software strategies

Ø Hands on experience in configuring URL filtering, file blocking and security profiles in firewalls

Ø Review network security threat logs for intrusions and compromises and provide solutions

Day to day specifics:

Ø Support to L2, L3

Ø Daily Review of PAN India connectivity

Ø Reports building (SLA/ link Utilization /Threats /VPN etc)

Ø Maintain/updates IT MIS reports as per the management requirement on day-to-day basis

Ø RCA reports building

Educational Qualification: Any graduate, preferred B.E / B.tech , BCA / MCA

Certifications: Must done CCNA / CCNP, additional advantage Sonicwall / Fortigate

Relative Work Experience: 5-7 yrs of experience
