In keeping with the tradition of delivering e-commerce shipments on Sundays and holidays, Ecom Express Private Limited, a leading logistics solutions provider for e-commerce industry, on the day of the Diwali festival celebrated ‘Ecom Connect: Travelling Miles, Delivering Smiles’ an in-house initiative to acknowledge the hard work of its Delivery associates and encourage them plus to connect to the last mile customers. As part of the initiative, Ecom Express’ top executives across their offices were out in the field along with their Delivery associates delivering shipments. The engagement also provided an opportunity for the executives to get a first-hand on-field experience and gain insights into consumer expectations from e-commerce logistics solutions providers.
With the e-commerce festive season sales at its peak, Ecom Express Delivery Associates have been on the move delivering orders to consumers starting early morning till late evening everyday including Sundays and holidays. The peak season began from September and will last till end of the year but the critical phase was between Navratri and Diwali when the volume trend surged 2.5 to 3 times due to festival sales by e-commerce brands.
